Our goal

Boulart strives to be a workplace that respects the psychological and physical integrity of each individual as well as his or her private life (religion, gender, ethnic origin, language, education, social status, etc.). Boulart does not tolerate any form of psychological or sexual harassment within its organization.

The purpose of this policy is to affirm Boulart’s commitment to preventing and putting an end to any situation of psychological or sexual harassment within its company, including any form of discriminatory harassment.

Scope

This policy applies to all Boulart employees, in the workplace, in common areas, during company-organized activities, and in communications by any means, technological or otherwise.

  • Etc.

Expectations of staff

All employees are expected to behave in such a way as to maintain a harassment-free environment. Employees are expected to treat others with respect, both within the company and when participating in work-related social activities.

Reporting and handling complaints

Whenever possible, a person who believes he or she is being subjected to psychological or sexual harassment should first inform the person concerned that his or her behavior is undesirable and that he or she must put an end to it. She should also note the date and details of the incidents, as well as the steps she has taken to try to resolve the situation.

If this initial action is not taken, or if the harassment continues, the employee should report the situation to his or her manager or a member of the human resources department. The complaint, whether anonymous or not, should be made as soon as possible after the incident. Anyone witnessing harassment must also report it.

In the event of a report

Boulart undertakes :

  • Respect the victim’s right to privacy and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • To take reasonable steps to develop practices and measures that take this situation into account.
  • Policies and practices will in no way discriminate against employee victims.
