Domestic Violence Policy

Modified date

Statement of principle

It is Boulart’s policy that every employee has the right to work in a violence-free environment. In addition, every employee is encouraged to seek help for domestic violence, even if it occurs outside the workplace.

Domestic violence has a daily impact on the lives and safety of hundreds of employees in Quebec. Domestic violence invades the workplace, putting victims and their colleagues at risk and causing losses in productivity, increased absenteeism, reduced motivation, anxiety, tardiness and, by extension, impacts on colleagues.

Roles and responsibilities

All managers and the Human Resources Department are committed to applying this policy.

Employees who have any questions about this policy or its application may discuss them with their supervisor or Human Resources staff.
