Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Statement of Principle

The objective of this Policy is to guarantee a health and safe work environment for all Boulart employees, visitors and subcontractors.

Roles and Responsibilities

The management undertakes to:

• Respect all the legislation, regulations and standards applicable to OHS;
• Identify the hazards and analyze the risks in collaboration with the workers;
• Establish and deploy the necessary corrective actions and verify their effectiveness;
• Inform and train the employees so that they can accomplish their tasks in total safety;
• Supply the employees with the appropriate PPE for their workstation;
• Favour a safety culture by encouraging communication concerning OHS.

The supervisors undertake to:

• Ensure that all employees respect the safety rules and use the PPE adapted to the task performed;
• Train the employees in the health and safety procedures.

The workers, including the supervisor, undertake to:

• Accomplish their tasks in a manner that does not create hazards for their health and safety and that of others;
• Follow the health and safety procedure and instructions issued by the Company;
• Report all incidents and any hazard discerned;
• Reference the hazards and participate in the development of the measures allowing their elimination.

The OHS Committee undertakes to:

• Select the personal protective equipment that is best adapted to the workers’ needs, while respecting the standards;
• Investigate and analyze accidents to determine the causes and suggest corrections;
• Receive the workers’ suggestions and complaints relating to OHS.

Boulart undertakes to protect its employees’ health and safety by adopting a proactive risk management
approach and favouring collaboration between the employees and management.
