{"id":104,"date":"2025-02-03T16:08:49","date_gmt":"2025-02-03T21:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/boulart-policies.test\/?p=104"},"modified":"2025-04-10T08:11:29","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T12:11:29","slug":"occupational-health-and-safety-policy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/politiques.boulart.com\/en\/sante-securite-en\/occupational-health-and-safety-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Occupational Health and Safety Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-small-font-size is-horizontal is-content-justification-left is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-af3ec496 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p><strong>Modified date<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-post-date__modified-date wp-block-post-date\"><time datetime=\"2025-04-10T08:11:29-04:00\">10 April 2025<\/time><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Statement of Principle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of this Policy is to guarantee a health and safe work environment for all Boulart employees, visitors and subcontractors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roles and Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The management undertakes to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respect all the legislation, regulations and standards applicable to OHS;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify the hazards and analyze the risks in collaboration with the workers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and deploy the necessary corrective actions and verify their effectiveness;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inform and train the employees so that they can accomplish their tasks in total safety;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supply the employees with the appropriate PPE for their workstation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Favour a safety culture by encouraging communication concerning OHS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The supervisors undertake to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure that all employees respect the safety rules and use the PPE adapted to the task performed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train the employees in the health and safety procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The workers, including the supervisor, undertake to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accomplish their tasks in a manner that does not create hazards for their health and safety and that of others;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the health and safety procedure and instructions issued by the Company;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report all incidents and any hazard discerned;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reference the hazards and participate in the development of the measures allowing their elimination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The OHS Committee undertakes to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the personal protective equipment that is best adapted to the workers\u2019 needs, while respecting the standards;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigate and analyze accidents to determine the causes and suggest corrections;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive the workers\u2019 suggestions and complaints relating to OHS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Boulart undertakes to protect its employees\u2019 health and safety by adopting a proactive risk management<br>approach and favouring collaboration between the employees and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For any questions or requests for information, we invite you to contact the person below, who will be happy to assist you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quality Assurance Director: <a href=\"bgariepy@boulart.com\">Brigitte Gari\u00e9py<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Modified date Statement of Principle The objective of this Policy is to guarantee a health and safe work environment for all Boulart employees, visitors and subcontractors.
